Our 1,000-square-meter reserved area within the larger 3,000-square-meter bay ensures tranquility and comfort for our guests. Perfectly positioned in a natural haven, the beach is designed to enhance your Sardinian seaside experience.
Our beach lies within a protected natural reserve, making it a rare and precious sanctuary. The crescent-shaped shoreline, framed by rugged cliffs and lush Mediterranean greenery, creates a breathtaking setting for relaxation and exploration. Overlooked by the historic Chia Tower, Su Portu’s beauty is both serene and captivating.
The Su Portu bay features a sandy seabed for a soft swim, while the beach itself is adorned with smooth pebbles. This combination means you can enjoy the sea without worrying about sand clinging to your skin, even when the Maestrale wind blows. A convenient boardwalk ensures easy access to the reserved area, making your beach day even more enjoyable.
Perched above the coastline, the Chia Tower dates back to the Spanish era and serves as a historic sentinel of the area. During the spring and summer months,
the tower is open to visitors, offering a glimpse into the past and a unique vantage point. A scenic path leads to the tower, rewarding you with panoramic views of Chia’s stunning coastline.
The private beach spans 1,000 square meters and is fully equipped to elevate your seaside experience. Luxurious loungers and umbrellas are thoughtfully arranged to ensure both privacy and comfort. All beach services, including sun loungers,
umbrellas, beach towels, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, are completely free of charge and available exclusively to Veridia guests. Public restrooms are located just 50 meters from our reserved beach area, offering added convenience.
Located just 200 meters from the resort swimming pool, the beach is easily reachable with a short, pleasant walk through a tree-lined path. As you approach, you’ll be greeted by the gentle sea breeze and the soothing sound of waves.
In addition to our private beach, we encourage you to explore the nearby coastal gems surrounding Veridia Resort. Discover Sa Colonia (1.8 km), Su Giudeu (4 km), Cala Cipolla (5 km), and the breathtaking Tueredda (7.4 km). Each offers its own unique charm and natural beauty, providing endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.
Although no restrooms or freshwater facilities can be installed due to conservation rules, the untouched charm of Su Portu makes it a one-of-a-kind destination. The beach’s natural character is preserved to offer you an authentic Sardinian coastal experience.
